With the Summer months approaching one of the most requested hair colours at our 3 salons across Birmingham is to go lighter. There is something in the air when the sun is shining that makes everyone want to be blonde.
Here are our top tips for keeping your blonde hair fresh throughout the Summer months:
Invest in a good Shampoo and Conditioner. Jamie Newton, Head Colour Technician at our Solihull salon recommends using Kerastase Reflection range. This will keep your hair in good condition between your colour appointments as bleach can be harsh on the hair. There is also a Sulphate free option, by using this you will really see an improvement in your hairs colour, texture and shine.
In between colour appointments you can visit one of our 3 salons for a toner and blow-dry. This will take out the dullness that can sometimes happen with over washed blonde hair and make you look fabulous all over again. We recommend only to have one toner in between colour appointments so that the roots don’t grow to long.
Use a shine spray on your hair to reflect the light. Our Edgbaston & Solihull Salons are stockists of TIGI and we recommend Head Rush. Not only is it the best shine spray on the market but it smells amazing too.
